Writing Instructions
The last task in our instructions focus was for the children to read a story of how some children made chalk and then turn these into clear and concise instructions, working in pairs. The children had to include everything that we have learnt about instructions: A title, an optional introductory statement or questions, subheadings, resources needed, bullet points and numbers, clear sections, short senetnces starting with verbs, pictures and tips or suggestions. These then had to be published on A2 paper. They did a really great job.
