Writing Animal Reports

We have been working on such an interesting writing topic over the last 2 weeks. Me and Mrs Herdman chose some really unusual animals and the children had to watch some videos about them, making very detailed notes. After this, they used their notes to write reports, using success criteria to help them structure the reports into paragraphs with subheadings. The final stage was proofreading and editing, and then getting their reports buddy checked and editing some more! Everyone in the class produced a really fantastic report that they can be proud of.
