Being able to draw a multiplication problem and then write the equation demonstrates a good understanding of what multiplication means. This is how the Squares Maths group started our Multiplication with on Tuesday, moving onto written problems and equations by Thursday.
The second problem was more tricky and the children solved it in lots of different ways. Here are some of them.
