Writing Instructions

This week we have been looking at good instructions and have agreed what they should all have:
A title, an introduction, a list of equipment needed, bullet points and/or numbers, clear sections, simple sentences that can start with a verb, and pictures or photos.
The task was then to turn a journal story about growing popcorn, into a really good set of instructions. The class have been working really hard with their buddies on this. Nina and James are the first to finish.
