Meet Wilbur!

Cole's mum brought in Wilbur to meet us this morning.  He is only 3 weeks old and drinks about 4 whole bottles of milk each day. He is used to children because he lives at Seymour Kindy.

Everyone is here!!!

I think this might be the first day of this term when everyone has been at school!! So I took the opportunity to take a new class photo that includes our new student Jack, and our - not quite so new anymore - student Brayden!

Maths Week

Last week was Maths Week and the children created fun posters of maths problems. We are going to share them at assembly on Friday. Here are 3 of them:

Last week we started a new writing topic: using speech marks correctly and writing dialogue in an interesting way.

The  class investigated words that could be used instead of said, by looking through picture books and chapter books. They came up with all of these!

Today we got together with a buddy in Room 17 to role play some arguments. 

Then we started to write these down, using everything that we have learnt 

about writing great dialogue. Here are some of the role plays:

Room 16 have been creating monsters with their little buddies from Room 11....

Brayden was the best bowler today, with Mr Holmes, which means he gets to wear the medal for a day!
