There has been some fantastic progress in reading for most children in the first two terms of the the year and this is because of how much reading they do home, as well as at school. This is why it is so important that they do their reading homework and I love to be able to recognise and reward the children who are working hard on their reading at home.
Everyone has achieved at least one Reading Reward. That means they have read at least 40 nights since February.
All the children who have achieved 2 Reading Rewards, have read at least 80 times since February.
All the children who have achieved 3 Reading Rewards, have read at least 120 times since February.
Who will be the first to read at least 160 times and achieve their 4th Reading Reward???
