Kahn's BIG walk

Kahn and his family walked up to the Trig at Mount Vernon. I know that it's a long and very very steep walk - and so tiring especially if it is windy or hot. Well done Kahn!

Zoey's Learning today!

Zoey has found out heaps of information about ANZAC Day:

I have found out that the first world war lasted for four years, and the second world war lasted for six years! Another thing I learnt  is  that people who have defended our country get special medals which they proudly wear on ANZAC day. Finally the last thing I found was that New Zealand and Australia were never against each other, they were a team. I can remember those who were involved by wearing poppies. Also I have found out some facts for ANZAC days. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zeland Army Corps. ANZAC day is April  the 25. On that day because that's when the ANZACS landed on Gallipoli.

She has also been doing some Maths

Poppies, Poppies Everywhere...

Keep sending me your poppy pictures!
