Maths Practise
The best way to show that you REALLY understand something is to make up a question for someone else to do. The children made up multiple choice questions for a buddy to answer.

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
Richmond Reading Group have been reading Judy Blume's Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. Each reading session they read a chapter independently and then complete some activities about what they have read.
What was your favourite part?
Izzy : I like the part when Fudge swallowed the turtle! His mother thought he had just put him in his mouth but he had gulped it down!
Amelia: My favourite bit was the same as Izzy's - he ate the turtle and had to go in an ambulance
Would you like a brother like Fudge?
Amelia: Probably no! He would be so annoying!
Izzy: Definitely no because I would get really annoyed with him!

Rio 2016!
Our new topic for the first half of this term is all about the Olympics. We have already learnt a little about the history of the Olympics and today the children worked in groups of three, one member from each of rooms 13, 15 and 16, to research an Olympic sport and produce an information poster about it. I love the enthusiastic and self managed way that the children can work with children in the other classes and in the other classrooms.
