Swimming :-)

We finally had a sunny day for our swimming on Thursday! We have swimming times on Mondays and Thursdays every week.

Statistics

We have started some statistics work for our maths this week. We made a bar graph showing the colours of our library cards and then worked with our talking partner to make a tally chart about the bikes and scooters in the school.

Expectations for 2017

The children have been working on their expectations for themselves, their classmates and their teacher - to ensure that they have a happy and successful time in Room 16!

Working Collaboratively...

Today the children got to choose to work in either Room 13, Room 15 or Room 16 to work on their Summer art project. It was lovely to see them having the opportunity to work alongside their friends in the other classes. Throughout the year, the children will get really used to working with the other children and teachers in Kowhai Syndicate.
